Milano Cortina Winter Games

Olympic Games Feb 6-22, 2026 | Paralympic Games Mar 6-15, 2026

Born in the early 20th century to give space to sports linked to snow and ice, the Winter Olympic Games are today a global event, bringing together people from different countries and cultures through a shared passion for sport.

At GLS, we support sport as an expression of shared values such as commitment, teamwork and determination. With this same spirit, we are preparing to face the challenges related to the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, working every day to ensure an efficient and reliable service across the areas involved in the event.

Here is our training program:

snow

Analyse competition schedules, venues and affected areas in order to identify the most efficient routes and avoid potential traffic restrictions.

ski

Engage all partners operating in Milan, Cortina and the surrounding areas to support distribution activities and last-mile deliveries.

jump

Define a staggered delivery plan to avoid peak hours and minimise potential delays.

skating

Adapt standard routes to ensure continuity and a smooth flow of deliveries.

hockey

Set up a dedicated team to monitor traffic and operational conditions in real time across the areas involved, working closely with local authorities to promptly adjust delivery plans when needed.

And now, let the games begin!

We have done everything possible, obtaining all the required vehicle passes and permits, to operate regularly and continue to guarantee a high-quality service across the affected areas throughout the entire duration of the event
(Olympic Games: 6–22 February 2026 | Paralympic Games: 6–15 March 2026).

However, during the event period, some operational slowdowns may occur due to traffic congestion as well as the presence of vehicle access checkpoints.
